Job Description


  • The Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring organization culture development, talent succession planning, legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy


  • Overall control of the HR function to preserve and facilitate company strategy.
  • Formulate personnel systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals.
  • Recruit and select appropriate staff for the job.
  • Plan and effectively develop talent acquisition and management programs.
  • Build succession planning programs
  • Develop remuneration and reward policies.
  • Plan and direct employee training and development programs, especially in leadership, company culture and professional training.
  • Improve management/employee communications, including mediating in disputes and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Ensure that health and safety procedures are adequate.


  1. Main Duties / Responsibilities
  • Organizational culture: Build strong culture in learning and leadership;
  • Talent management: Build and maintain effective talent management system and succession plan in alignment to organization’s strategy; identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Performances: Plan, lead, develop and direct performance evaluation; increase productivity, recognition, and morale of organization; 
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations;
  • Internal needs: Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Reports: Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organizations human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
  • Compliances: Monitor and ensure the organizations compliance with state employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Adapting changes: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management
  • Budget: Develops and implements departmental budget. 
  1. Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department. 
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. 
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

  • Successfully create talent pool and timely fulfill demands of recruitment
  • Effectively build succession workforces, develop employees on their career map

Job Requirement

  • Education: BA/MBA
  • Experience: 5-10 years
  • English: Intermediate
  • Others: Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master degree preferred;
  • Ideally at least 05-10 years of progressive experience at the same position of global companies / corporates in HR Management, Rewards, Talent or business function required, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred
  • International experience and mindset;
  • Strongly experienced in building creative and learning culture
  • Strongly experienced in talent management and succession planning to align to organization’s goals and strategy
